Both the packages can be downloaded from http://sarovar.org/projects/malayalam.

System Requirements

The packages should run on any Linux system with a working TeX distribution (preferably TeXLive). Please see the documentation for details.

For the LaTeX package, the VIM editor is required in the pre-processing stage.

For the Omega package, a utf-8 editor like Yudit is required to write the source files.

Installation

Installation on Linux is very simple. You just have to run the install.sh script provided with the packages. I haven't tested these packages on Windows. The Omega package should work if you manually copy the files to their locations.
